He was also a finalist for the Taite Music Prize for his work on JessB's EP 'New Views,' producing her hit song 'So Low.'
Throughout his career, Tia has worked with a number of notable artists, including JessB, Raiza Biza, Melodownz, Sid Diamond, Who Shot Scott, Paige, Third3ye, Mikey Mayz, Blaze the Emperor, The Settlers, Tyna Keelan, Illbaz, Iggy Pop, and many others.

In 2020, he collaborated with a group of students to release an album of all-original compositions called '2020.' This album was the first original school album released in the Bay of Plenty and has received considerable attention with over 50,000 streams. This success has led to coverage by Radio NZ and The Herald, as well as play listings with local Tauranga radio stations.
Tia has established himself as one of New Zealand's most in-demand hip-hop drummers, making him the go-to drummer for artists such as JessB, Blkcity, and Raiza Biza. His work in the Aotearoa NZ music scene and in education was featured in the 2021 issue of NZ Musician. He has also performed in high-profile gigs, including supporting Six60 at the first-ever Eden Park concert, which hosted over 50,000 people, and touring around Aotearoa with bands such as L.A.B. and Fat Freddys Drop.
In 2022, Tia is proud to have been endorsed by Yamaha Drums, Istanbul Agop cymbals, Pacific Ears In-Ear Monitors, and Music Works NZ. Additionally, his music production was used in several TV shows in New Zealand and internationally.
